Fact-checking & Digital Investigation Workshop
美國女生控告父母「未經同意生下自己」勝訴?新冠病毒引致白肺?法新社(AFP)的事實查核團隊將介紹各種專業 Fact check 工具與深度查核技巧,並引用實際新聞案例和大量練習,協助記者學習辨別虛假訊息,以及如何通過網絡資源發掘和查核各種新聞素材來報道突發新聞。當網上資訊真假難辨,記者更需懂得仔細檢視貌似為真的各種網絡照片或影片,以免誤引虛假資訊為新聞素材,並替讀者FC各種網絡流傳的資訊。
法新社與香港記者協會誠邀各位新聞記者參加全天培訓,費用全免。本次培訓語言為普通話和粵語,並將引用華語地區實例,配以英語簡報教材。

During this full-day workshop AFP’s Fact Check team editors will introduce professional fact-checking tools, in-depth verification skills as well as an abundance of news reports and other exercises to help working reporters identify misinformation and disinformation. Reporters will get their hands on using a variety of online tools and resources to verify source materials that could be used in spot news. At a time when it becomes harder to tell genuine information from misleading ones, reporters should get trained on how to carefully review internet images and videos that appear to be accurate, and avoid including false information in news reports by mistake.
This workshop is free-of-charge and is designed for reporters whose working language is Chinese. It will be conducted in Cantonese and Mandarin with the support of English presentation materials.
Participants may choose between one of the following two sessions:
- February 11 (Saturday) 9:30am - 4pm, or
- February 12 (Sunday) 9:30am - 4pm
