Hong Kong Journalists Association condemns the destructive behavior against media

“The Epoch Times” announced on Facebook that Hong Kong Newtime Printing Co Ltd in Mong Kok which printed the newspaper of The Epoch Times, was set on fire at about 4 am yesterday (19/11). The CCTV footage of the scene showed that four people were suspected of arson in the printing house and fled. The Epoch Times stated in a post that one paper feeder and four rolls of printing paper were severely burned, and the control box shell of another paper feeder was also burnt.
HKJA condemns any acts of violence or sabotage against the media. We demand an end to violence and urge the police to investigate seriously.
