The attack against senior officials of the Hong Kong Morning News

HKJA has issued the following statement on the attack against senior officials of the Hong Kong Morning News:

Two senior officials of the Hong Kong Morning News, Peonlei,the Executive Vice-President and Hills Lam Kin Ming, the News-In-Charger ,this afternoon reported that they were attacked by four men wielding steel bars as they were walking along a road downtown. The HKJA is deeply concerned about this matter and strongly condemns such violence.
HKJA stresses that Hong Kong is ruled by law and such  violent behavior is intolerable.  We strongly urge the police to thoroughly investigate this incident and to speedily apprehend the attackers.
HKJA would also like to convey our concerns  to the two victims and hope they will recover speedily.
