The “Implication of Video News on Text News Reporting” seminar  was held on 6 January , Prof. Francis Lee, Director of The School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, presented some interesting findings from studies on readers’ preference on reading online text news and video news.

Ernest Chi, Executive Editor-in-Chief of HK01, and Li Ka-chung, Chief News Editor of Apple Daily, shared their valuable insights and experiences about the development of video news in Hong Kong.  Bruce Lui, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Journalism, Hong Kong Baptist University, was the moderator of this seminar.

The public seminar “Implication of Video News on Text News Reporting” was organized by The Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. HKJA is the co-organiser of this event.
